A Fountain Pen’s Walk down the Memory Lane

A Fountain Pen’s Walk down the Memory Lane

From the wars of the independence and birth of a nation to the continuance of a diverse civilization, here’s documenting my experience as a literary instrument through the course of Indian history. It’s courtesy of the poets and authors I served, creating a legacy and significance of luxury pens and fountain pens in India.

90 years till Independence

From the first war of independence to the final movement against the ones who took this land from its true owners, I bore witness to it all. I had been used by the young freedom fighters to create agendas and manifestos of the movement, while the likes of Rabindranath Tagore, Henry Derozio, Nirad C. Chaudhari, Sarojini Naidu, Toru Dutt, and Raja Rao, honed me to rage rebellion against the Raj through their literary compositions.

Bloody Birth of a Democracy

More than 200 years of captivity, and then finally freedom arrived, but astride Death, as partition turned the lands and the rivers red. I remember the heart-wrenching stories and poems being penned down by Khushwant Singh, Saadat Hasan Manto, Kamini Roy, Manohar Malgonkar, and Salman Rushdie.
But sorrow has not been the sole feeling that I rendered. Since through my quill-tip came the musings of R.K Narayan, Ruskin Bond, Satyajit Ray, and Krishna Sobti. They documented the adventures of a newly born society and stories of its people, painting a splendid socio-economic-cultural image of independent India.
Considered as a magnificent symbol of the human intellect, the time has changed my status into a cherished relic. The new world is fixated on typing and voice recording to convey thoughts, yet my relevance triumphs, never to be extinguished. It lives on through the works that I helped once create and continue with a timeless spirit, partnering with artists and enthusiasts who treasure and embrace my varied forms as the world’s best fountain pen.
